Built by engineers for GovCon

GovCon has a continuity problem

Every BD-to-Capture handoff rebuilds what the last team already knew. We built GovEagle to fix the layer where institutional knowledge should transfer — and doesn't.

What we believe

Principles behind every decision

The story never starts over

Every handoff between BD, Capture, and Proposals rebuilds knowledge from scratch. That's structural, not workflow. GovCons lose wins they already earned.

Domain experience isn’t optional

General AI tools don't know what a color team is, or how a PWS is structured, or why LPTA isn't best-value. We built GovEagle for this world. It wasn't adapted later.

Continuity is the competitive edge

The GovCons that win consistently don't have the best writers. They have the best memory. GovEagle makes that memory persistent, searchable, and useful at every stage.

The origin

“GovCon doesn’t have a writing problem. It has a continuity problem.”

01

Context kept getting lost

Akash spent years in federal sales at IBM, watching GovCon teams restart from scratch every time a deal moved forward. Context rarely carried over. Most of it lived in people’s heads, not in their systems.

02

Complex decisions need better infrastructure

Gabe built machine learning systems at Stripe, Lyft, and Amazon. When he looked at GovCon, the problem was clear: proposal work kept resetting instead of building on itself.

03

One story, carried forward

They started GovEagle to fix that handoff, carrying the same context from opportunity to delivery so every team works from one story, one source, and one voice.

Our team

The people behind GovEagle

Akash Mandavilli

CEO & Co-Founder

Akash is a 2x founder with AI experience at Meta and a background in federal sales at IBM.

He started GovEagle after seeing how often BD teams had to rebuild knowledge that should have moved with the opportunity.

Gabe Villasana

CTO & Co-Founder

Published machine learning researcher who built AI models at Stripe, Lyft, and Amazon.

Gabe brings the engineering discipline of large scale consumer AI to federal contracting, a space that has long lacked serious technical infrastructure.

How we work

Opinionated about the craft

Domain first

We build around how BD teams, capture leads, and proposal writers actually work. Every product decision is checked against real workflows, not generic enterprise software assumptions. We use the product ourselves and talk to customers every week.

Earn the trust

GovCon teams work in high-stakes, compliance-heavy environments. We don’t ship things before they’re ready, and we don’t make claims we can’t stand behind. Trust takes longer to build than software.

The hard parts matter

Federal work comes with details you can’t ignore: solicitations, amendments, compliance matrices, formatting, and reviews. We don’t pretend those parts don’t exist. We help teams move through them faster.

Small team, uncompromising

We’re a focused team. Everything we ship reflects what we actually believe in. If the work doesn’t matter to customers, we don’t build it.
